George Barrett, age 82 of Hamilton, Ohio went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. George was born in Powell County, Kentucky on December 16, 1938 to the late Gilbert and Emma (McComb) Barrett. 

George, or known as “G.B.” to most, was well-known for his gardening talents, having grown tomatoes and other vegetables for many years. He was a handyman that could fix just about anything around the home.  He was a neighbor’s neighbor that will be dearly missed.

George will be missed by his loving wife of over 60 years, Treva Barrett; his children, Sherry (Mike) Radovich, Randy (Karen) Barrett, Greg (Myrna) Barrett, Angie (Kanani) Whaley and Chris Barrett; his grandchildren, Brandon Radovich, Christina (Dustin) Lucas, Jeff Lewis, Jason Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Gregory Barrett II, Erica Franklin, Tyler Snell, Alea Jordan, Aisha Jordon, Ryan Whaley, Adam Whaley, Kye Whaley and Brandon Whaley; 20 great-grandkids, and his brother, Benny Barrett, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

George is reunited in Heaven with his parents; his sisters, Gladys, Della, Nelly, and Brenda; and his brothers, Albert, Elbert, Hubert, and Gary.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 12:00 NOON with Pastor Greg Barrett and Pastor Randy Barrett of Barrett International Ministries officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
