Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Myers Obituary

Jeffrey Scott “Jeff” Myers, 55 of Arkansas City passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Cremation has been effected. A Live Streamed Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020, through the funeral home website www.rindt-erdman.com. Jeff was born July 30, 1965, to Gaylen R. and Diana Kay (Wooderson) Myers in Wichita. He grew up and attended schools in Wichita, Burden, and Winfield. Jeff graduated from Winfield High School in 1984. After high school he attended and graduated from Wichita Auto and Electronics Institute. On June 6, 1987, he married Tricia Paine in Winfield. The couple made their home in Arkansas City. Jeff owned and operated Premier Body and Paint for 28 years. He was a member of the Beathik C.C. and a past member of the Tumbleweeds. Jeff had a gift for creating and working on kustom cars. His ability and talent surpassed anyone when it came to body work and repairs. The only thing Jeff loved more then working on kustom cars was driving them. He and his close friends would take several trips a year to California, cruising the backroads to attend several different car shows. Most of which he has won awards at. Yes, Jeff had a special love for cars and working on them, but that love never compared to the love he had for his family and close friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Surviving to honor his memory is his loving wife of 33 years, Tricia Myers of the home; two sons Garrett Myers, Lucas "Luke" Myers and girlfriend Jaycee Burley; his mother Diana Kay Blatchford all of Arkansas City; brother Nick Myers of Dexter, KS; half sisters Donna Walton of Wichita; Collina Myers of South Haven; father-in-law James Paine of Arkansas City; step-father-in-law Joe Walker of Arkansas City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his granddog Lucy. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Gaylen, sister Nichole Myers, step-father John Blatchford, mother-in-law JoAnn Walker, grandparents Cecil and Margery Wooderson, and Richard and Dorothy Myers. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Jeff’s name to the Jeff Myers Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.rindt-erdman.com.
