Daffnie LaShay Rogers Hooks was born May 25, 1973 in Gadsden, AL to Byron Rogers and the late Diane Rogers, who loved her dearly.

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, and joined Mt Zion Baptist Church.  She recently rededicated her life to Christ. 

Daffnie was educated in the Attalla, AL School system.  A devoted wife and mother, she loved life, with a memorable laugh and a quick smile always on her face. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane and two children. 

She married her devoted husband, Bobby D. Hooks in 1992, and were blessed with five loving children.

She transitioned to new life on December 10, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Bobby; her loving children:  Devron Rogers, Bobby Rogers, LaToria Hooks, Kashmiria Hooks, and Darren Kelly; two precious grandchildren, Toryelle Hooks and Everly Hooks; loving father, Byron Rogers; two dear siblings, Quanita (Darnell) Hughley, Barrick Rogers; her dear mother-in-law, Sally Snow; 
a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
