<p>It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle and friend Derek Roland McIvor on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 43 years. </p> <p>Derek was born on August 24, 1977 in Ste. Rose du Lac. </p> <p>Derek was predeceased by his grandparents Roland and Jane Houle and Vital and Emma McIvor and several aunts, uncles and extended family members. </p> <p>He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories; his mother Marilyn Flett, his father Milton McIvor Sr, his children Jayneen, Jasmine, Kendrick and Deelynn, his partner Rachel Houle, his grandchildren Jayna, Lance and Lillian, his brothers and sisters Terry (Deanna), Darren, Vanessa (Kevin), Milton (Jolene), Charlene (Edward), Darcy, Tracy (Ron), Becky (Sheldon), Marilyn (Jay), his special cousins whom were raised as his siblings John (Bart) Mancheese, Jane Mancheese, Kelsey Mancheese, Michayla Paul along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, cousins, and many friends. </p> <p>A wake was held on Friday, December 18, 2020 beginning at 5:00 pm from the residence of Marilyn Flett, 460 Lake Rd NE, Ebb and Flow First Nation. COVID gathering rules of no more than 5 people were in effect. </p> <p>A private service for Derek was held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the residence of Marilyn Flett, 460 Lake Rd NE, Ebb and Flow First Nation. </p> <p>Interment was in the Ebb and Flow Cemetery. </p> <p>The service was live streamed from this page on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
