Mom, You're a Real Angel

by Emily Matthews

Mothers are angels without any wings

Who spread joy around

And do wonderful things

If an angel is someone

who's so filled with love,

it's a gift

that they constantly share,

If an angel is someone

who looks out for others

and gives them a nudge

here or there,

If an angel is someone

who touches your life

with a heart that's both joyful and wise,

Then even though mothers don't usually have wings,

they're angels in human disguise!

Mom,

may all the warmth and love you brought

to every life you touched

And all the joy you helped create

because you cared so much

Be given back to you today

to bless your life and show

How much you were loved and treasured, too

by everyone who knew you!
