Terrance J. Grindle, 47, of Steubenville died, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Trinity West ER. He was born February 17, 1973 in Steubenville. He is the son of Sheila Wolfe Grindle and the late Terrance Grindle.

Terrance was a detective for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department for many years. He loved art and was an avid drawer. He also loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and spending time with his family. He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1991.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife Kristen Dunn Grindle, whom he married September 17, 1994; one daughter Kyley Grindle of Steubenville; one brother Michael Grindle of Steubenville; two sisters Jackie Monigold of Mingo Jct. And Janet (James) Vasconcellos of Weirton.

Calling hours will be Friday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
