Geraldine Bruce Bentley Duncan Geraldine Bruce Bentley, 71, of 129 Highland Drive passed away Friday, October 30, 2015. Born on July 16, 1944 in Greer, she was the daughter of the late Buford and Mildred Durham Bruce and the wife of James W. Bentley of the home. Ms. Bentley was Co-owner and operator of Lyman Auto Sales. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church and was attending True Life Tabernacle. Survivors also include two sons, Darel Bentley and wife Jackilyn of Wellford, and Tony Bentley and wife Deneen of Moore; a nephew, Jeff Durham and wife Andi of Greer; and a grandson, Ethan Bentley of Moore. She was predeceased by a grandson, Austin Bentley; a brother, Carl Bruce; and two sisters, Lillian Denton and Minnie Jane Burnett. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Stribling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Beebe officiating. So sorry for you loss. I know Geraldine was very precious to Austin and Ethan. They were lucky to have such a close relationship with her. I know that she will be sorely missed here, but I am sure that she is rejoicing today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
