Linton Spears

Linton Spears, age 86, born at Pikeville, Kentucky was the son of the late Ballard and Alice Sword Spears. He was a hotel owner and operator and a veteran of World War II with the Army Air Force. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Bernice Salisbury Spears; three sisters: Josephine Kinney, Laura Damron, and Pauline Irick. Survivors include: His daughter: Susann (Terry) of Pikeville, one grandson: Michael Thompson of Lexington and one great grandson: Hunter Thompson also of Lexington. Two sisters: Magdalene Coleman and Emalene Steele both of Coal Run Village. There will be military rites by the DAV Chapter 166 of Johns Creek following services. Visitation: At J. W. Call Funeral Home after 5:00 PM Funeral: 11:00 AM Monday at J. W. Call Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Bliffen officiating Interment: Spears Cemetery
