Eldon Claude "Buster" Lewis
<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Buster Lewis announces his passing on Saturday December 5, 2020 at the age of 89. Loving and devoted husband of 61 years to his predeceased wife Lyla-May Lewis (née Scobie). Amazing father to Lorena-Del Nystedt (Scott) and Mark Lewis. Proud and caring grandfather to Bri-Ann Nystedt (Bruce), Morgan Lewis, Adrianna Nystedt, Kaleigh-Ann Nystedt and Mackenzie Lewis. Survived by his brother Gordon “Joe” Lewis. Dear uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Gertrude Lewis and brothers Robert “Bob” Lewis and Ronald “John” Lewis.</p> <p>Buster had a successful 37-year long career as a dedicated and hardworking employee for Sealtest/Ault Foods. Buster was happiest when spending time at the cottage with his family and friends. His kind and caring nature was felt by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.</p> <p>Family and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Tubman Funeral Homes’ Westboro Chapel, 403 Richmond Rd., Ottawa, on Thursday December 10, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, visitors must register for the visitation below. A private funeral service will be held. The video recorded service will be available to be viewed on this tribute page as of Saturday morning.
