Edmond Guy Wooldridge
Edmond Guy Wooldridge, 76, passed away on June 15, 2016. Ed was born in Kokomo, Indiana to E Guy and Beatrice Wooldridge on September 22, 1939. Ed graduated from Ottawa Hills High school where he was a standout athlete. Ed was a Steelcase employee for 37 years. He was a long-time member of Blythefield Country Club and loved to fish, hunt and play golf. He also spent time playing his favorite card game, "Set Back" with his dear friends. He was President of the John Ball Park Zoo board. He was a devoted Husband, Father and friend. Ed's greatest love was his family, whom he was most proud. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and his step son, Matthew Christiansen. Ed is lovingly survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Wooldridge; his son, Michael Wooldridge, (Amanda, Molly, Nathan); his daughter, Cynthia and Brian VanDommelen (Erin Morgan & Jonathon, Amy, and Will); his son, Richard and Julie Wooldridge (Mitchell, Jack, and Colton); his step son, Brett Christiansen (Brittney, Jake, and Carly); and his step daughter, Danielle and Bruce Beals (Alec, Matthew and Juliette). Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16th from 4-7pm at the Pederson Funeral home, 127 N. Monroe in Rockford, Michigan. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 17th at 11:30am at Pederson Funeral Home.
