Mrs. Geraldine Clelland McManis Seager, 82 of Damascus, MD passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Born in Washington, DC on October 26, 1938, she was a daughter of the late John and Vincena Pellegrino McManis. Beloved wife of Walter Seager; Mother to Michael I. and W. Jon Seager; Grandmother to ten grandchildren.
Mrs. Seager was a dedicated and a well-respected woman who built a life for her children while receiving her Master degree in Dental Hygiene; specializing in the care of special needs. She cherished her accomplishment as a Dental Hygiene Board Examiner. She loved to spend her time educating her self through schooling and reading numerous books. She loved to educate and guide her loved ones through her experiences life gave her. She was talented in making fly fishing lures which helped her fly fish in any weather.
She was always true to herself and her beliefs. Geraldine and Walter dreamt highly of building their dream Mountain house at High Mountain West Virginia. They achieved this dream around 2013 and since have spent much of her time there with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and their many beloved friends they had met along the way. She will not just be remembered as a loved one, but one that made a true impact to this world. She will not be forgotten as her legacy and wishes will continue to live out in her memory.
Funeral services will be private.
