My message for my mom:  daughter Anneka Dixon-King,

Mum i wish u were still here. I wish you could still hear my voice and I yours. I hope you knew how much you were loved. I didn't know how heart broken I would feel without you. I wish we had more time. I wish I could find a way to let you know all that you meant to me and that I will cherish all the gifts of time that we were able to share in.

My Glorious Mom, your joy, your passion in life, your art and womanly strength was present in everything that you did, in everyday. I hold onto that in hope that it will shine through in all of your grandchildren and that I "a part of you, will be there to see as your eyes would". You loved us all on your worst day and your best, you loved us and I will never ever forget, sweet mother of mine

Things were never easy but you were part of my soul in ways that I hadn't even realised.

I am so grateful that you were a part of your grandchildren lives and that you had a wonderful family who will forever hold you in our minds and hearts. Your sisters and brothers, neices and nephews your mom and us your two daughters.

I want to thank Gran for being a beautiful mother. You strengthened the joys in mums life, your visits together doing mums favourite things, movies, eating out, your journeys together. I know how much it meant to mum that you attended her art shows, a place where she could bring you into her mind and creativity. A place for you to have pride in each other.

Monique you were a loving sister to mum. You were there for mum, sharing in each others lives. I know how much you, komi and the kids meant to mom. You were the true meaning of family and acceptance and friendship and love. I am grateful you gave mom all of that.

I want to thank moms friends, Belkys you made my mom feel cared for through your many years together, I am grateful!

Piper O'Sullivan and your mom Kathy King, thank you for all the care and support you gave my mum. I know how much this changed her life in so many good ways. Thank you for still continuing to care for my mother through us her daughters.

Mom, I wish I could tell you how each and everything you did was heart felt by me and how much I will cherish all of those memories and gifts you gave me. Every moment that we spent together and all the things you chose that u felt suited my personality.
I wish we had one last chance to talk and look into each others faces and to talk about the joys in our lives, your art, your grandchildren.
I used to feel mad at you having ice cream because it wasn't healthy but now i wish that we could sit and eat some together ❤ mum I love you.
