Ann Mitchell Pressley, 51, of Abbeville, wife of Andy Pressley, died Monday, October 24, 2016, at her home. She was born in Abbeville to the late Henry and Cora Maeline Graham Major Mitchell. Ann retired from Ingles Markets, Inc. after many years of dedicated service. She was a volunteer at the Abbeville County Fire Headquarters and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Tony Major and a brother-in-law, Mike Powell. Ann is survived by her husband of 32 years of the home; a daughter, Katie Danielle Pressley; four sisters, Dianne Todd and her husband, Bobby of Lincolnton, GA, Judy Powell of Elberton, GA, Sheryl Fleming and her husband, Todd of Donalds, SC, and Sue Mitchell of Due West, SC; and a grandson, Connor Pressley. A Service to Celebrate Ann's Life will be 3:00PM, Thursday, October 27, 2016 in the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Alewine officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions, in memory of Ann, may be sent to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
