Doris Lou Griffith Shoemaker, age 85 of Robbins, TN, departed this life on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her home.  She was born November 29, 1935 in Glenmary, Scott County, TN to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Welch Griffith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Charles Lee Shoemaker; three sisters:  Sue Baker, Polly Underwood and Sandra Wright; two brothers:  Ike and Harry Griffith.

She is survived by one son:  Rodney Lee Shoemaker and wife Brenda Jean; two grandsons:  Brian Lee Shoemaker and wife Chasity, and Matthew Charles Shoemaker and companion Kathern Shoemaker; four great grandsons:  Brian Lee Edward Shoemaker and wife Audri, Kyle Shoemaker, Landon Shoemaker, and Gabriel Shoemaker; one great, great grandson:  Bentley Callahan Shoemaker; one sister:  Pauline Todd and husband Commodore; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the Ralph and Lizzie Griffith Cemetery on the Nydeck Road in Glenmary, TN, with Bro. Mike Smithers officiating. Music will be provided by Brent and Leslie Shoemaker. Pallbearers will be: Kyle Shoemaker, Brian Shoemaker, Bubba Gibson, Rose Ellis, Cory Smith and Tracy Lawson.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
