It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce the transition of Mrs. Thelma Baskett who entered into eternal rest Friday, December 4, 2020.

Mrs. Baskett, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mealing Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Baskett, Sr.,; three sons, Charles W. Baskett, Jr., (Crystal), Chris Baskett and Matthew R. Baskett, Sr., (Tawanna); three daughters, Denise Alexander, Timekia Mayes (Anthony) and Nicole Baskett; 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at Mealing Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed.  Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
