Daniel “Danny” Joseph Bowers, 50, of Martinsburg peacefully passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 surrounded by family.

Born March 30, 1970 in Washington, DC he is the son of Ronald Michael Bowers, Sr. and Joan Marie Caliguro Bowers.

Danny played bass guitar in area bands and played for many fundraisers to benefit those disabled and fighting cancer. Loved driving his Jeep without the top on.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Irene Cleveland Bowers; one son, Joey Bowers and wife, Krista and their children, Brayden and Levi; one daughter, Della Bowers; one sister, Lori Simpson; and one brother, Ronald Bowers, Jr.

The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for the family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 and one hour prior from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 followed by a funeral service at 3:00PM with Father Bill Donivan officiating.

Interment prayers will be private.

Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
