WONCH, Marjorie J. – of Clio, age 81, died on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 5PM until 8PM. Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Marjorie was born April 1, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold and Mae (Serven) Boyd. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1957. Marjorie married Patrick J. Wonch on August 24, 1957 in Mt. Morris, they enjoyed 62 years together. He preceded her in death May 10, 2020. She enjoyed watching game shows – especially Jeopardy, and baseball and basketball – especially the Detroit Tigers and Pistons. Marjorie also enjoyed shopping, lunch dates with the girls, and talking with her sister. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. Surviving are: Children: Deborah LaPoint, Michelle (Kelly) Hall, Linda (Wayne) Thompson, Kathy (David) Inman, Susan Jackson, Karen Beckman, and James (Becky) Wonch; 17 Grandchildren; 14 Great grandchildren; Sister, Patricia Whitman; Nieces: Vicki Whitman, and Sherri (Scott) Noland.
