<p style="text-align: justify;">Henry Lewis Osby, son of the late John and Hattie Bess Osby, transitioned to his heavenly home on December 3, 2020.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Henry was born on August 20th, 1943 in Lexington County, SC.&nbsp; He attended the public schools in Lexington Counted and was a member of the 1960 graduating class.&nbsp; Henry went on to get a degree in math and electronics. Henry was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he served on the trustee board.&nbsp; At an early age Henry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and he later established himself as a painter.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Henry is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Eugene Osby.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Henry leaves to cherish the memories of the life he lived&nbsp; two sons, Derrick (Katrina) Osby of Batesburg-Leeseville, SC, and Ondra Padgett of Union, SC; one daughter Nakia Tolen of Columbia, SC; two sisters Bessie Louise Osby of Lexington, SC and Alice Mae Osby of Pennsylvania, PA, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews other family members and friends.</p>

Obituary

Henry Lewis Osby, son of the late John and Hattie Bess Osby, transitioned to his heavenly home on December 3, 2020.

Henry was born on August 20th, 1943 in Lexington County, SC.  He attended the public schools in Lexington Counted and was a member of the 1960 graduating class.  Henry went on to get a degree in math and electronics. Henry was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he served on the trustee board.  At an early age Henry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and he later established himself as a painter.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Eugene Osby.
