Douglas Allen Gossey
Douglas Allen Gossey, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 3, 2020 at Riverbend Nursing Home in Lexington, MO. Doug was born in Kansas City, MO to Ruth (Walker) and William Gossey on November 10, 1953. He was a 1972 graduate of Van Horn High School. He gave 30 plus years to Commercial Distribution Center before suffering a massive stroke in 2011. He enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs and NASCAR’s Jimmy Johnson. In his earlier years, a long day of fishing was an enjoyable day. Doug is survived by his wife of 33 years, Connie Gossey; daughters, Kara (Jason) Vento, Melea Duncan, Julie (Mike) Akers and Ginger Smith; 9 grandchildren; 1great-grandchild; brother, Ronald Gossey and niece and nephew.
