Jeffrey V. Clayton, 63 of Urbana, Illinois, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his residence. He was a hotel maintenance worker. He was born December 5, 1956 in Indiana, the son of the late Harry and Betty June (VanDeventer) Clayton. He married Becky Jenness October 12, 1985 in Danville, Illinois and she survives. Other survivors include three children, Hillary (Tyler) Leloup of Paris, Douglas H. Clayton of Chrisman, and Haylee Clayton of Terre Haute; one brother Bryan (Debbie) Clayton of Texas; and one grandson Tyson Cusick. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Douglas K. Clayton. Mr. Clayton enjoyed fishing and boating. SERVICE INFORMATION Private family services will be held at a later date. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
