Miriam A. (Kramer) Woerner, 96, passed away in Rosewood Nursing Center in Schuylkill Haven, Thursday, December 3rd, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Adam C. Woerner. Sadly, Adam passed May 4, 1998. Born in Hamburg on July 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Irene (Stine) Kramer. She was a 1942 Hamburg High School graduate. Miriam was a member of St. Paul's (Smoke) Church where she was a member of the church chair and a Sunday school teacher. She was employed as a supervisor for 42 years with General Battery before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the L.A. Hamburg Fire Co. Surviving are three grandchildren: Victoria, Missy, and Sam; one brother, Robert Kramer of Centerport; a sister, Marie (Kramer) Rentschler of Reading and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Miriam is predeceased by a son, Glenn A. Woerner, and a brother, Charles W. Kramer A funeral for Miriam will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Church Cemetery, Windsor Twp. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
