Mr. DaMarcus Quandarius Smith “Pluke”, 28 transistion on Thursday, December 3, 2020 with his family by his side. DaMarcus was born on the 12th day of January 1992, to Monica Smith Overton and Mark Monroe. DaMarcus accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at The Way of The Cross Church. He received his education in the Newport News Public School System.
 

DaMarcus was preceded in death by his “Big MaMa” Marvis L. Monroe, two grandfather’s; Cornelius Monroe and Preston Smith and one uncle Richard Monroe.

DaMarcus left behind a legacy and a smile that will always be remembered and truly missed by his family and friends. DaMarcus was a loving son, father and brother.

Left to cherish his memory are his four children; Preston , Jemeri , Domani Smith and his only princess, A’Niyla Clyburn Smith. DaMarcus also left behind two brother’s; DaeSean Smith and Kevin Medley and sister DaNieya Copelnd and one special nephew Darion Smith; one godmother Coliasha Barnes, two godbrother’s Oshaun Mathew, DeAndre Barnes; and two godsister’s; Xamaca Hargroves and Azzure Jackson. DaMarcus will also be missed by four close and special cousins; Cympnany , Ymonnie and RaeQuan Smith and Tracy William Jr., one loving grandmother Cynthia Collins (Jennis Collins); three aunties; Tammeka and Lisha Smith and Sandra Rassaw, two uncles; Cornelius Monroe Jr. and Adonis Shukurr, two great aunties, one great uncle, three nephews and a host of extended family members and devoted friends.

Services for Mr. Smith will be held privately for the family.

It is the desire of the Monroe and Smith-Overton family that you would  keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Mr. DaMarcus Quandarius Smith has entrusted his final care to the staff of C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
