George Moses Cole, age 80, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Franklin. He was a resident of Morgantown.

George was born January 5, 1940, in Pineville, Kentucky, to his parents, the late Lawrence R.  and Christine A. (Fulkerson) Cole Sr. He is survived by his siblings: Steven (Carolyn) Cole, Mark C. (Kyle “Keelee”) Cole and Rev. Dr. Clara Cole Stewart as well as several nieces and nephews.  George was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rose and brother Lawrence Jr.   

George was very gifted with his hands and was a talented graphic artist. One of his favorite things to draw was old fashioned cars.  George also enjoyed spending time with his family.

In keeping with George’s wishes, he will be cremated with no services at this time. Inurnment will be held at East Hill Cemetery at a later date.  Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
