Mr. Christopher R. McCarthy, 61, of Bantam, passed away Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dauna “Bunny” McCarthy for 20 years.

Chris was born in Waterbury on June 29th, 1959, son of Teresa (Bertone) McCarthy and the late Francis W. McCarthy. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, Class of 1977. He worked as a maintainer for the State of Connecticut Highway Department for 34 years. He was avid hunter and fisherman.

Besides his wife, Bunny, and mother, Teresa, he leaves his stepdaughter, Sarah Curulla and her husband, Troy; stepson, Johnathan Stull and his wife, Heather; his grandchildren, Colt, Phoebe, Harper, Sydney and Ella; nephew, Joseph F. McCarthy; niece, Alana Solomita; and several other family members and close friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph A. McCarthy and sister-in-law, Patricia A. McCarthy.
