Gerome "Snookie" Hicks

Gerome "Snookie" Hicks, age 82, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Floyd County, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 3, 1938 in Garrett, KY, a son of the late Edgel and Grace Hughes Hicks. He was retired as a field supervisor for KY WV Gas Co and a member of James Alley Masonic lodge and El Hasa Shrine Temple.

He is survived by three grandchildren: Michael Ryan Chaney, Martin, KY, Amie Chaney and Danny Chaney both of Viper, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter: Sybrina Chaney.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 8 at 11 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is after 5 pm Monday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7 pm.
