Evelyn Vitiello Naehle (Age 92) On Sunday, November 29, 2020, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Milton Naehle and mother of Linda Whelan ( John) and Bill Naehle ( Mary). Proud grandmother of Eileen, Maureen, Johnny, Maria, Catherine, Elizabeth and Jimm, and great grandmother of Lucas, Madelyn and Scarlett. Evelyn was born in Washington DC, raised in Cheverly, Maryland, graduated from Notre Dame Academy in D.C. and attended Maryland University. She was a stewardess for Capitol Airlines, during which time she met and married the love of her life, Milton Naehle. They married on February 17, 1957 and enjoyed 63 years of life together. She was a wonderful mother who adored her family and devoted countless hours in service to her church in the parishes she belonged to. Her Catholic faith was the guiding light on which her life was based. She was the beloved Aunt Evy of countless nieces and nephews and she leaves a tremendous circle of friends she enjoyed from every facet of her life. A Memorial Mass and Life Celebration will be held in Spring of 2021 due to the pandemic. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to S.O.M.E. 71 O St. NW Wash. D.C. 20001
