Mrs. Ruth Carolyn Tyson Clark, 80, of Bridgeboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 724 Liberty Hill Rd. Doerun, GA 31744. Rev. Bobby Joe Brown officiate and the family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery. Born October 25, 1940, in Worth County Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Elsie Tyson and Gladys Hall Tyson. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved everyone. She enjoyed baking, cooking and genealogy. She was a member of Bridgeboro Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Clark, Jr.; daughter, Casey Clark; sister, Jean Bozeman; and brother, Leon Tyson. Survivors include her sister, Mary Jo Cabe of Bridgeboro; children, Thomas E. Clark, III. (Barbara) of Portsmouth, OH, Allen Clay Clark (Deborah) of Arlington, TX, Samantha Rene Mathis of Doerun, Michael Clark (Kayla) of Sylvester, Lacey Clark of Ohio and Charlie Clark of Bridgeboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
