<p>Linda E. Ahnger, nee Blomquist, age 78, beloved wife for 57 years to Jerry. Loving mother of Cindy (Bill) Beaumont and Rick (Janet Hobson) Ahnger. Cherished grandmother of Bill Jr. (Emily) Beaumont, Brittani Beaumont, Satchel Hobson and Iris Ahnger. Dearest great-grandmother of Eloise and Liam. Dear sister of the late Janet (Jim) Kunst. Fond sister-in-law of Sandy Potts and Judy Ahnger (Dan Carlton). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Linda had over 50 years of service as a legal secretary at several law firms in downtown Chicago. From birth, she enjoyed spending time on Nelson Lake in Eagle River, WI at her family's cottage. Linda was a life-long, diehard Chicago Cubs fan and loved attending opening day games. She also sang in the choir at Grace Fellowship Church for many years. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation Monday, December 7, 2020 from 3-7 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. &amp; Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a limited amount of visitors are allowed at a time. <b>All guests wanting to attend the visitation at Colonial Chapel must register by clicking on the blue RSVP tab for visitation under Service Details below which is located by scrolling down</b>. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Service private.
