<p>Lehi, Utah -Lorena died peacefully in her sleep the morning of December 1st at the age of 94. She was born January 29, 1926 in Ucolo, San Jaun, Utah to George Nathaniel and Loda McNaughtan Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 3 brothers &ndash; Earl, Ethan, and Dean &ndash; and her 2 sisters &ndash; Fern and Velma.&nbsp; She spent most of her growing up years in the beautiful Heber City valley. During her later years she loved to take rides up the canyon to visit Heber again.</p> <p>Lorena served a full-time mission in the Western Canadian Mission. After returning from her mission, she lived in the Salt Lake City area. While living there she worked as a secretary for the Utah Idaho Supply company. She loved her ward and attending the temple. Friends introduced her to Harold Hafen and they married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 17, 1952. They were blessed with four children: Carolyn (Dilworth Lyman), Sydney J (Judith Johnson), Lana Kay, and Conrad.</p> <p>Harold and Lorena eventually moved to the Roy, Utah area where they spent the rest of their married life. They loved horseback riding, gardening, and traveling to be with family. They served as ushers on Temple Square then later as ordinance workers in the baptistry of the Ogden LDS temple.</p> <p>Lorena worked as a secretary at Hill Air Force Base and loved to arrive each morning just as the gate opened so she could be first into the office. She loved to shop for clothes and always dressed nice. She enjoyed a good Rook game and made the best fudge at Christmas time. She was generous with her funds and was willing to help her children and grandchildren. Family was very important to her. She is survived by 21 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.</p> <p>There will be a graveside service for family only on Saturday, Dec. 5th at the Heber City Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside from 10-11 am at Anderson &amp; Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT.
