Patricia Wynn Obituary

Patricia Ann Wynn was born September 28, 1947, to Floyd Douglas and Bettie Agee, she was a graduate of Central High School in 1965. She met and married Murrey Wynn November 27, 1965. To this union she had 3 girls: Sophia, Patsy, and Kathy.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mom and dad Floyd Douglas and Bettie Allen. Mother and Father-in-law Helen and Osie Layton, one brother, Larry Smith, sister-in-law; Norma Carter, brothers in law; Samuel Wynn and Winfred Layton, Grandson; Murrey Lee Wynn.

Patricia worked in the medical field as a CNA, Respiratory Therapist, and a EKG Tech. she loved taking care of people. She worked at General Hospital, Wheatly Hospital, Menorah and VA Hospital until her health begin to fail. She took care of her mom for 8 years until her passing. Patricia was a member of Temple of Truth Baptist Church. Where she sang in the choir and served on the mission board. She was also a member of the American Baptist Women Association and The Prison Fellowship for children whose family members were incarcerated. She also participated in White Cross an organization who tool care of people around the world. Patricia was also an active good bowler and bowled in several leagues.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Murrey Wynn, three daughters; Sophia (Sue), Paty and Kathy – all of KC, step parents Ellis and Sue Allen of KC, brother; Clyde (Sherri) Agee of Columbus, Ohio, brother in law; Ike Layton, Mike (Lisa) Layton of Kansas City, Clyde (Glenda) Layton of Hinesville, Ga, step brothers; Jefferey (Danita) Allen of West Virginia and Curtis Lee of KC, sisters in law; Jenny Layton, Shirlene Layton, Christine Hall, Sheila Layton, Teresa Smith, Regina Lockheart all of KC, grandchildren; Quinton (Adriene), Shamica (Horace), Sheena, Shanee, Sophia, Destiny, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, special cousin; Donna Smith, special friend; Betty Watts and the entire Temple of Truth Church family.
