Judith Ann Jenkins Obituary

Judith Ann Jenkins of Montague, NJ went home to be with her Lord on December 1, 2020. She came to know Christ as her personal Savior when she was a teenager and dedicated her life to the Lord early in her marriage. Judy was passionate about her faith, and her burden was to see all of her family and friends come to realize that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. She was a faithful and active member of her church her entire life.

Judy was born to Wilson and Jane Kavanaugh and was reared in West Chester. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Tom. Judy worked for many years as a secretary and a receptionist while her children were growing up so that they could attend Christian School. Judy enjoyed watching the hummingbird feeder outside her front door, square dancing, Donny Osmond, Jim Brickman, and many Gospel hymns.

The joy of her life was her family to whom she was very devoted. Judy loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and worked hard at being the best that she could be. The highlight of her year was when she and Frank would take the whole family on vacation! The family has wonderful memories which we will cherish until we see her again one day.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband Frank of 56 years; her children Dawn (Darren) Waterbury, Melissa (Ron) Whitehead, Chris (Michelle) Jenkins; and 11 grandchildren Joshua Whitehead, Emily (James) Roche, Jennifer Whitehead, Julia Whitehead, Andrew Jenkins, Joanna Whitehead, Zachariah Jenkins, Abigail Jenkins, Emma Jenkins, Benjamin Jenkins and Alexis Jenkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Monday, December 7th, 2020 from 10 AM to 10:45 AM followed by her Memorial Service at 11 AM at Bible Baptist Church, 1237 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. Those who are unable to attend are invited to join the service by visiting: https://youtu.be/fAdVximEP5w or by searching for “Bible Baptist Church of West Chester” on YouTube. Interment will be immediately following at Philadelphia Memorial Park, 124 Phoenixville Pike, Frazer, PA 19355.

If you would like to honor her life, in lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to consider a gift in her memory to be sent to Tri-State Bible Camp (2 River Road, Montague, NJ 07827). She loved Tri-State and lived on the property where her son is the Director of the Camp. She was thrilled to serve there in the summer and see children and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
