Judith (Judy) Chandler, 71, of Murrieta, California passed away to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 21, 2019 with her son at her bedside. She was born on March 13, 1947 in Springfield, Missouri. She married Ronald (Ron) Wayne Chandler on June 4, 1966 in Springfield; they were married for over 40 years. Judy was a homemaker for most of her life; however, she became a Home Health Aide in San Diego, California in 1983. She retired with her Husband and moved to Blue Eye, Missouri in 1995, where they enjoyed a fishing home on Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. She then moved to Santee, California in 2008 to be with her son and granddaughter. She is survived by her Son, Robert Chandler of Murrieta, California, her Daughter, Jeanine Chandler of Anchorage, Alaska, her Granddaughter, Makenna Chandler of Murrieta, California, her Sister, Carol Weaver, (Vic), Nephew, Joey Weaver, (Melanie) of Monroe, North Carolina, Sister-in-Law, Sue Herrin, Niece, Carla Herrin, Great Nephew, Tyler of Springfield, Missouri, and her Step Mother-in-Law, Margaret Chandler of Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Dorothy Ruth Shaw, her Husband, Ron Wayne Chandler and her Brother, Michael Herrin. Judy lived a fulfilled life with her husband, kids and granddaughter. Judy enjoyed simple pleasures like fishing, enjoying her animals and doing crossword puzzles. Her favorite times were singing and teaching Sunday school at Calvary Baptist Church in National City, California. She will be laid to rest in Springfield, Missouri next to her husband, Ron at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery. Judy will truly be missed. We rejoice in the legacy she has left with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation or to The Awakening Church in Judy's honor.
