Angel "Mike" Diaz
<p>Angel "Mike" Diaz, age 82 of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2020, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on September 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Daniel Vincente Diaz and Rosa Rivera Diaz.<br /> Angel moved to Pittsburgh in the mid-1960s. He was a skilled carpenter and a great cook. He will be sadly missed by his family.<br /> Angel is survived by his children, Marisa (Jim) Aversa, Michael (Emma) Diaz, Christopher (Amber) Diaz, and Ricco (Athena) Diaz; grandchildren, Megan, Cate and James Aversa, Michael Daniel and Sophia Diaz, Piper and Leland Jordan, Mercedes, Reese, Story, Marco Cattelya, Christopher Jr., Angel, Ricco Jr., Max, Selena, and Aidan; and former spouse, Diane Shoemaker.<br /> In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Justiniana, Jose, Esther, Felicitia Diaz; and former spouse Carole (DiDomenico) Diaz.<br /> Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
