Ms. Gwendolyn Reid Gregory, 69, passed on Monday, November 30, 2020 at her residence. Born on September 9, 1951 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Douglas and Doris Gibson. Educated in the public schools of Rowan County, she was a graduate of Dunbar High School, East Spencer. Ms. Gregory retired from Magnum of Salisbury and was a member of Fairview Heights Baptist Church, Salisbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Reid on May 20, 2018. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela Reid of Salisbury; sisters, Mildred Gibson of Concord, Phyllis Reid of Kannapolis and Jackie Gibson of Charlotte; brothers, Tony Reid of Kannapolis, Gregory Douglas of Salisbury, James Gibson of Fuquay-Varina and Marcus Gibson of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
