Novil E. (Boots) Thompson went to be with the good Lord on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born March 22, 1929, to Richard Lee and Elsie Speer. She was of the Baptist faith. She deeply loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and her sisters Dean Fletcher and Mary Rose Speer. Survivors include one son, Greg Thompson, and one daughter, Regina (Sherrell) Johnson, one sister Dorothy Roush, one granddaughter, Kristen (Justin) Hurt, one great-granddaughter, Kinslee Hurt, and several nieces and nephews. Boots will be greatly missed by all of her family and by her loving labrador, Jazzy. Thank you to the nurses and staff from Belle Meade Nursing Home. A special thank you to Rebecca and Phyllis.
