<p>Mary Louise Ferrel, age 80, of Lenexa, KS, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, KS, where she was accompanied by her oldest daughter Faith, second son, Ron, and youngest daughter, Hope.&nbsp; She was born June 16, 1940 in Smith Island, IL, the daughter of Hugh Williamson and Thelma (Kelley) Williamson.&nbsp; She moved in her childhood to Kansas City and in 1958 graduated from East High&nbsp;School, Kansas City, MO.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was named the most athletic girl in her class.</p> <p>She worked her entire career in accounts receivables, working at Coke a Cola, Ice Masters, and recently for Psychiatry Associates of KC.</p> <p>Mary was united in marriage to Jack Hardman and residing in the Kansas City, Mo area during that time. They later divorced.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 1979 she married John Ferrel. They resided in Overland Park, KS until moving to Warsaw, Mo for five years.&nbsp;&nbsp;They later divorced.</p> <p>Mary loved going fishing at Truman Lake, boating, playing cards and games with her sisters and family.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was always excited to spend the Holidays or reunions with her family.&nbsp;&nbsp;She liked listening to classic country music and taking long road trips.&nbsp;&nbsp;Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite experiences, playing silly games and dressing up for theme parties.&nbsp;&nbsp;Mary always looked forward to the two hour road trip every year for her birthday to Hilltop BBQ and having blackberry cobbler. Keeping up with her family and friends was very important to her.&nbsp;</p> <p>She rarely ever missed out on an opportunity to cheer on her grandchildren at school functions or sporting events.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her favorite event of all time was getting loud at football, baseball games, and watching her granddaughter in high school theater and musicals She was known and loved for her devotion to watching every high school and college football game that her grandson played in.&nbsp;&nbsp;Watching and cheering for Chiefs football was her other favorite past time.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was a loud and proud fan.&nbsp;&nbsp;She loved her Mahomes and Kelce.&nbsp;</p> <p>She loved her and her son Ron&rsquo;s fish frys and smoked meats.&nbsp;&nbsp;She enjoyed long conversations with her son and daughter-in-law in Florida.&nbsp;&nbsp;She loved her long visits with her daughter, Faith, and shopping sprees with Hope.&nbsp;&nbsp;Having weekly or monthly lunch dates for Chinese or Mexican food with her sisters, Donna and Brenda was something she always looked forward too.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her family was her life and she will be dearly missed.</p> <p>Mary is survived by four children, Faith Hunt, Maryville, MO, Russel Hardman, Graceville, FL, Ron Hardman Independence, MO, Hope Windmiller, Shawnee, KS; two sisters, Donna Wilson, Brenda Hawkins; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four nieces; and three nephews.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents and one niece.</p> <p>Private family funeral services will be held at a later date.&nbsp; Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through&nbsp;www.lamb-roberts.com.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
