<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Timothy L. Edwards, loving husband, father, and grandfather died from a short battle with aggressive cancer. He is survived by his wife Kathy; children Chris, Jennifer, Josh, and Justin; and grandchildren Emma, Rory, Indigo, Amy, and Lydia.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tim was born in Charlotte, NC. He attended North Mecklenburg High School and entered trade school as a journeyman electrician. He worked as an electrician for many years on various nuclear plants around the southeastern United States. He spent several years owning and operating Edwards Insurance Agency. In his later years, he served as a federal armed guard for TVA.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He enjoyed practicing the martial arts, going to the shooting range, and traveling with his wife. His enigmatic personality, stories, and timeless wisdom were infectious. Tim&rsquo;s impact on all the lives he touched will forever be remembered. Rest in peace.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A small private memorial will be held on Sunday, December 13, at 2:30 P.M. Worked with Tim several years at Watts Bar. One of the finest men I’ve ever had the privilege to know and work with. He was so knowledgeable and anxious to share his knowledge with anyone. You will be missed Brother. My sincere condolences to his family.
