Betty Morgan Brigman

<p>Betty Morgan Brigman was born in Marlboro County, SC, a loving daughter of the late David and Ruth Langley Morgan.&nbsp; She retired after many years in nursing, was and antiquarian, licensed trip planner and tour guide.&nbsp; She enjoyed her time as a former board member of Christian Closet and decorating the Christmas Tree for Cole Auditorium for over 19 years.&nbsp; Betty established her own business &ldquo;A Needle In My Hand&rdquo; in 1977 which offered needlework supplies and custom framing.&nbsp; She was one of six women who brought counted cross stitching to the US.&nbsp; She was nationally known for framing designs for pictures, prints and needlework.&nbsp; One of her designs was featured on the cover of Good Housekeeping Magazine and she also framed cross stitch for Gloria and Pat Pattern Books.</p> <p>She also enjoyed being the church pianist and hosting charity fundraisers.&nbsp; In addition to needlework, many of her hobbies included decorating, painting, traveling, and solving word puzzles. &nbsp;Above all, Betty loved sharing time with her family and friends.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Brummert: brothers, Howard &ldquo;Buddy&rdquo; Morgan and Donald Morgan.</p> <p>Betty was a loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and godmother who will truly be missed.
