Mr. Leroy "Choby" Foster Jr. of Henrico, Virginia passed away on November 25, 2020. He was born March 24, 1959, to Leroy Foster Sr. and Gloria Mae Ned Foster in Port Arthur, Texas.

In 1980, Leroy joined the United States Army and served for 22 years. After retiring as a Sergeant First Class, he continued to work as a government contractor in Fort Lee, VA. Leroy soon placed roots in Petersburg, VA, Newport News, VA then built his dream home in Henrico, VA where lived his final days with his children.

He leaves behind his son Leroy Foster III of Port Arthur, TX; three daughters Karlaa V. Gregory (Williams) of Virginia Beach, VA, Latoya S. Foster of Newport News, VA, and Vashaunda O. Moore of Newport News, VA.  He also leaves behind two grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, all of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A funeral service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Whiting's Chapel.  Due to the current health pandemic, only 50 people may be in attendance with facial covering and social distancing required.  Mr. Foster may be viewed from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home.
