Linda Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Linda.

Linda Jane Smith, Age 72 passed away on the morning of Thanksgiving November 26, 2020 due to respiratory failure. She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Frances Jane Sykes – Curtner, but moved to California at a very early age. She was a loving and caring person who would have given her last $1 to help someone in need. Linda had a difficult life and lived most of her adult life just trying to get by. She was both fragile and tough at the same time and was a true survivor. No matter her circumstance, she always found a way to make it through the difficult times. She was one of the eldest in a large family of 8 children. She loved to dance, music, animals, her 4 children, and without question MEXICAN food! There is comfort in knowing that Linda is now at peace.  Linda was a believer in Christ and we are grateful that she is now with her lost ones in heaven. Linda was preceded in death by her spouse Richard Smith, mother Frances Curtner, father Dewayne Curtner, brother David Curtner, and son Brent Charles Williamson. She is survived by her children: Sons John Williamson, Jerod Smith, Justin Smith, daughter Jessica Smith, and granddaughter Paris Williamson. She is also survived by her siblings Judith Farris, Debbie Snyder, Pam Curtner Erickson, Bruce Curtner, Jana Blurton, and Brian Curtner.

 

A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Memorial Park 12241 Magnolia St, Garden Grove, CA at 11AM.  There will be a lunch provided to all attendees at of course El Torito in Cypress, CA immediately after the memorial service.
