Joanne Marie -Jamison- Allen,42, of Provo, Utah passed away Nov. 14th, 2020, in Provo, Utah due to ongoing health issues. Joanne was born to Jack Jamison and Martha Leal on November 25,1977 in Astoria Oregon. She is survived by her husband Brandon Allen in Provo, Utah and her father Jack Jamison in Seaside Oregon. Along with many uncles and aunts on the Jamison and Leal side of the family.
As a child, Joanne loved to be around her family. She loved to serve others as that trait never left her. Family and friends say she was kind, compassionate, loving, and a huge Oregon duck football fan. She was particular fond of her mother and went shopping with her every chance she could. She also, loved spending time with her Dad doing whatever she could with him. She was by her Mom's and Dad's side as much as she could be. At 5 years old Joanne went outside to get her little axe to help her parents chop wood and they say it was such a cute little moment. A moment of bliss according to her father Jack Jamison.  Her Dad said she would do anything to help her parents out which isn't surprising because her husband Brandon said she would do anything to help him.
Joanne was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She attended church with her mother and her grandparents when she could in seaside Oregon where she was raised.
Joanne attended and graduated from Neah- Kah- Nie junior high. She did great in school and excelled in basketball and volleyball. She played volleyball and basketball for the school. She was great at sewing and working on computers. She would help her friends and ward members to fix and troubleshoot their computers. She loved to crochet hats for her mom and her whole family.
Joanne, graduated from Neah-Kah-Nie High School in 1996. Where she continued to play basketball and volleyball for the Raiders. She met her two best friends Jenni, and Amanda who became her dear lifelong friends. She helped babysit and influence some of her younger cousins and her friend's kids.
Joanne graduated from Mount Hood University in Oregon. She received her degree in Medical Assisting.  She worked for various offices in Seaside during her time in Astoria.
In 2015, she moved to Provo, Utah with her friend Lauren Degamo. She met new friends and loved living in Utah. Joanne, was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed doing family history and helped her friends and future husband to work on their family history. Working on her family history, enabled her family to receive their temple blessings. She was married to Brandon Allen on Feb. 7th, 2020.  She enjoyed attending institute and church with her husband and dear friends.
