Moscaritola, 94, at <a href="http://www.rcancem.org">Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum</a>, East Hanover with military honors. Mr. Moscaritola passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Concord Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood, NJ.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Mr. Moscaritola was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Bloomfield for many years before moving to Nutley and then moving to Manchester in 2002.&nbsp; For most of his life, he greatly enjoyed his profession as a baker in his family-owned bakery, Moscara&rsquo;s Bakery in Newark and then Nutley.&nbsp; He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II, and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds received during battle in Belgium. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>He is survived by his beloved children Angelo Moscaritola and his wife Marianne, &nbsp;&nbsp;and Jane Moscaritola Dull; his cherished grandchildren Jeffrey Moscaritola, Michael Dull, and John Moscaritola and his wife Dara; and also his precious great-grandsons John and Grayson Moscaritola.&nbsp; He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.&nbsp; His family was important to him and he cherished the time spent with them.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Mr. Moscaritola is predeceased by his wife Gilda (nee Cecere) Moscaritola, his parents Vincenzo and Giuseppina (nee Marconi) Moscaritola, his brothers Angelo, Michael, and Vincent Moscaritola, and his sisters Teresa Spadone, Fay Monterosa, Nan D&rsquo;Adamo, Esther Giordano, Mary Ruggiero and Grace Martino.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

 Beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 94

 

Private graveside services were celebrated For Mr. Basil A. Moscaritola, 94, at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover with military honors. Mr. Moscaritola passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Concord Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood, NJ.     

 

Mr. Moscaritola was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Bloomfield for many years before moving to Nutley and then moving to Manchester in 2002.  For most of his life, he greatly enjoyed his profession as a baker in his family-owned bakery, Moscara’s Bakery in Newark and then Nutley.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II, and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds received during battle in Belgium.
