<p>Gregory S. Thacker, 60, of Washington, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Washington Nursing Center in Washington. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia September 2, 1960 to the late Jimmie Everett Thacker and Othea J. (McDaniel) Davis. His loves in life were history, music, and his family. He enjoyed going to concerts and enjoyed listening to REO Speedwagon. He loved kids, and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Gregory is survived by his siblings, Sherri (Scotty) Mays of Princeton, Sheila (Terry) Zink of Patoka, Sandra Brines of Princeton, Shane (Sara) Thacker of Lebanon, Illinois, Jamie Ratliff of Huntington, West Virginia, and Charlsie Young of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great-niece; and special friends, Gwen and Kevin Petty of North Carolina.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charles Thacker, James Everett II, and Wendell Thacker.</p> <p>The Thacker family is hosting a celebration of life at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 with visiting hours from 11:00 until 1:00 PM at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Princeton. Pastor Andrew Johnson and Donnie Truelock will officiate.
