<p>Joyce Milne Dahl, 82, passed away on November 28, 2020 after a valiant battle with Alzheimers Disease.</p> <p>Joyce was born on December 28, 1937 in Union, Utah to Orval &quot;Mike&quot; and Helen Milne. She married her sweetheart, Rodney Dahl, on November 20, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised three children in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.</p> <p>Joyce worked as a special education teacher at Jordan Valley School until her retirement. It was there that she gained her second family of lifelong friends. She especially loved all of her &quot;kids.&quot;</p> <p>Mom and Dad loved to travel. They enjoyed spending time in San Francisco, San Diego, Hawaii, Europe and spent many weekends in Jackson Hole. They also loved going for rides in their Corvette.</p> <p>Joyce&#39;s grandkids will always cherish their memories with her having sleep-overs, Uno games, McDonald&#39;s and staying up late.</p> <p>Joyce&#39;s family will always remember the parties at her home, swimming, barbecues, Easter egg hunts, and celebrating Christmas Eve.</p> <p>Mom will forever be known for her sassy blond hair, bright red lipstick &amp; nails, big sunglasses and her love of purses. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.</p> <p>Joyce is survived by son Mike (Jodi) Dahl, daughter Jennifer (Jared) Dahl, son-in-law Patrick Isom, brother Arthur Milne, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Rodney, daughter Kimberly, her sister Carolyn, and her parents.</p> <p>Special thanks to the staff at Carrington Court and her nurse Mindy for the loving care they provided to Mom over the years.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 pm, Mountain View Memorial Cemetery (3115 E Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah). Joyce Milne Dahl, 82, passed away on November 28, 2020 after a valiant battle with Alzheimers Disease.

Joyce was born on December 28, 1937 in Union, Utah to Orval "Mike" and Helen Milne. She married her sweetheart, Rodney Dahl, on November 20, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised three children in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Joyce worked as a special education teacher at Jordan Valley School until her retirement. It was there that she gained her second family of lifelong friends. She especially loved all of her "kids."
