Libby Sue Igo-Canepa
Libby Sue Igo Canepa passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at her home in Milton, Florida. She was 62 years old. Libby was beloved to many. Libby Sue Igo was born in Charleston, West Virginia on July 7, 1958, to Sebert Igo and Roena Mae Cain. She was raised in Charleston. She lived most of her adult life in Miami, Florida, and worked as a caregiver and personal assistant. She kept close friends and was a patient, caring, resilient and loving person with a persevering spirit. She has been described as "the toughest girl I've ever known." Libby and her husband valued their time together and with family and friends more than anything and truly embodied the vow "in sickness and in health." They were "a good team together." Libby is survived by her husband, David Ernest Canepa; her brother, James Igo, and sister-in-law, Patty Igo; niece, Robin Igo; nephew, James Igo; dear friends, Tom Dalgan and Hannah Ziegler; and a large extended family. She will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2021. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, Florida, has been entrusted with arrangements. Libby loved my brother David more than could possibly be imagined- her heart where he was concerned was so immensely generous and caring - although we were separated by many miles, our family could take heart in the fact that he was loved and cared for.
