Helena U. Bednarz, nee Ubycha, age 101 of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Arbor Terrace of Naperville. She was born June 3, 1919 in Rakowice, Poland to her loving late parents, Joseph and Antonina Ubycha. Cherished wife of the late Waclaw “Wally” Bednarz, wedded on October 7, 1945. Beloved mother of Casey (Frank) Tuttolomondo of Naperville, IL and Theresa (Daniel) Gibbons of Verona, WI. Adored grandmother of Erica (Matt) Kowalski and Dana Tuttolomondo, Jennifer Gibbons, Elizabeth (Brian) Weinandt, and Aaron (Jamie) Gibbons and great-grandmother of five. Dearest sister of Stanislawa, Kazmiera and Aniela. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Helena immigrated to the United States in 1951 and moved to Naperville in 1991. In lieu of flowers, memorials to: American Heart Association. Visitation: Friday, December 4th 3:30-6:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Current CDC guidelines allow for up to 10 guests and family members at one time. Funeral Service is private on Saturday. Interment is at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
