Mrs. Alice C. Zeigler, age 95, of Cecil, GA., died December 2, 2020 at Southwell Health & Rehab in Adel. Alice was born Jan 31, 1925 in Wilcox, County, GA. to the late Edd Preston and Annie Belle Miller King. Alice moved to South Georgia in 1935 and had remained there ever since. Her husband, Ezra Lee Zeigler, predeceased her in August 2003. Survivors include one daughter Marion (Gene) Tucker of Tulsa, OK; one son, Charles (Velma) Zeigler of Newton, AL.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive her. Her extended family are the members both past and present of the Hahira Church of God. Alice was preceded in death by a daughter, Voncille Sutton in 1947, a son James Earl Zeigler in 2015 and a daughter-in-law, Sherlin Zeigler in 2009; her parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters. She was the last living child of Edd and Annie. Alice was a member of the Hahira Church of God where she served in the capacity of church treasurer for many years. She enjoyed camping and sitting by the campfire. She loved to quilt and had made a quilt for each of her grandchildren. Graveside services and burial will be held at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Leonard Harnage will officiate. There will be no formal visitation and the family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hahira Church of God, 206 E. Stanfill, St., Hahira, Ga, 31632.
