Cecelia C. (Tavares) Kotouch, age 82 of North Dighton, passed away on December 1, 2020 at Morton Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Kotouch.

Cecelia was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Ricarda (Repoza) DeBrum.

Before retiring, Mrs. Kotouch was employed with H &L Bloom Inc.  She was a Dighton Bus Driver for forty-two years.  During that time, she received numerous bus safety awards for driving children to and from school safely.

In her earlier years she was an avid bowler and in a weekly bowling league. She was an incredible cook in the kitchen and always wanted to feed everyone.  She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, fighting to give her children and grandchildren the best of life.  She was their advocate, their safety net, their shoulder, their confident, and their best friend.  She lived life to the fullest, enjoyed a good laugh, and always demonstrated her faith to the God.   

Cecelia is survived by her loving children; Richard Kotouch and his wife Lori of Dighton, Alan Kotouch and his wife Lisa , Susanne Martel and her husband Stephen all of North Dighton and Cynthia Rego and her husband Steven of Somerset, grandmother of Amy, Kory, Katelyn, Julianne, David, and Jared, great-grandmother of Isaac. She was also the sister of Manuel Repoza,Marie Chaves-Spitaleri and Shirley Goodwin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:30 am in Saint Nicholas of Myra Church 499 Spring Street, North Dighton. (Relatives and friends may meet directly at church and are required to wear facial coverings.)

Her burial will be held privately at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to; The Arthritis Foundation in Cecelia’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
