Bill had a large, extended, & blended family of cousins, and step family most of which resides in Virginia. Bill grew up in Northern California and loved telling his grandchildren that their Bildad rode horses with the Indians that worked on the ranches. Bill worked numerous jobs all his life and had so many skills . He also had an uncanny memory for dates . When he was 21 he packed up his family and headed east to Virginia. He applied to and was hired almost immediately by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. He always referred to it as " His Dream Job". There he spent 25 years working with people he loved and respected. He was so proud to have been one of the first members of the HazMat and Cave In crews. He retired as a Lieutenant. He and Marles also bowled. A sport he excelled at. Along the way they made hundreds of friends in all their leagues. Bill bought a Harley in early 2000 and they took trips on it all over the country. In 1973 Bill started Bianchi"s Carpet Cleaning Company. His business is still going strong after almost 50 years. Due mostly to teaching his son Tony Anzelone his many expert skills in cleaning carpets and maintaining equipment. To the local carpet cleaning businesses he was known as "The Master ". He constantly had people calling him to fix equipment and asking advice. In his last years he began playing games of cards. He leaves behind his Buddies Mogie Mogavero, Johnny Knott and Steve Poole. He will be mourned by more family , friends & coworkers than is imaginable. Hundreds of people who loved him have sent cards and flowers & commented on Face Book. Bill would have said to me. " Marles are you kidding me, That many?" He was a very proud, kind , loving, giving , hard working and humble man . He was always ready to give a helping hand to someone in need. His brother Steve said we all could learn a lesson from Bill and maintain his constant positive attitude. Bill never wanted negativity in his life. He is missed more than you could imagine by his partner in life , who never left his side, his wife Marles. Together they fought his hideous cancer. Marles advocating & doing research & Bill willing to continue treatments. He also leaves behind his fur babies Cocoa, Baby Kitty & Stella. Constantly wandering through the house looking for their Daddy. On September 4th. all our lives were changed forever. There will be a Memorial Service planned in the Spring . When it is socially acceptable due to the pandemic. A date will be announced. I know this is a long obituary , but Bill was an extraordinary man who was larger than life. I could not condense his story into a few words. Thank you for indulging me in this tribute to my husband.
