<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>CLEVELAND- Ross L &ldquo;Ronnie&rdquo; Vaughn, III</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Ross L &ldquo;Ronnie&rdquo; Vaughn, III, known as Bobo to his grandchildren and their friends, 73 years old, of Cleveland, MS, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020, in Williamsport, PA. &nbsp;Ronnie was born November 25, 1947, in Forrest City, AR, and grew up in Bolivar County, MS.&nbsp; He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1965 and earned BBA and MBA degrees from Delta State University, both while working full-time. He retired from banking after serving as President and CEO of Cleveland Community Bank and became a licensed realtor, real estate broker, rental property owner, and hardware store owner in Cleveland.&nbsp; He was an active member of the Cleveland Noon Lion&rsquo;s Club for many years during which time he served in various leadership roles.&nbsp; He had also coached flag football for the Cleveland Park Commission. In retirement, Ronnie split his time between homes in Cleveland and in Williamsport, PA, traveling with his wife, Louise Buckels Vaughn, of 55 years, and otherwise spending time at his hunting camp with his brothers and grandchildren.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>He is preceded in death by his parents, R L Vaughn and Faye Brackin Vaughn, and his daughter-in-law, Anne Elizabeth &ldquo;Liza&rdquo; Jordan Vaughn.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife, Louise Buckels Vaughn, of Cleveland, MS.&nbsp; He is also survived by his three children: Ross Douglas Vaughn (Leslie Carroll Vaughn) of Gulfport, MS; Lawrence Edward Vaughn (Daye Radford Vaughn) of Cleveland, MS and Melissa Vaughn Starkey (Paul Lee Starkey) of Williamsport, PA, his nine grandchildren:&nbsp; Emily Vaughn Bailey (David Forrest Bailey) of Nashville, TN;&nbsp; Justin Edward Vaughn (Sarah Kathryn Beasley Vaughn) of Birmingham, AL;&nbsp; William Thomas Vaughn of Tuscaloosa, AL; &nbsp;SSG Joseph Tyler Vaughn, U. S. Army, &nbsp;of Ft. Riley, KS; Anna Vaughn Stewart, Douglas Forman Stewart and Charles Dudley Stewart of Williamsport, PA; Ellis Carol Starkey of Oxford, MS; James Lee Starkey of &nbsp;Farmington, NM; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Margaret Bailey of Nashville, TN; and his two brothers:&nbsp; Lawrence Wesley Vaughn (Charlotte Rocconi Vaughn) of Olive Branch, MS and Thomas Eugene Vaughn (Debra Meyer Vaughn) of Oxford, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and other family members.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Private Family Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at North Cleveland Cemetery on North Jones Bayou Road in Cleveland, MS.&nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Pallbearers are William Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Forman Stewart, Tyler Vaughn, Charlie Stewart, and David Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are John Armstrong, Leslie Gill, Percy Trotter and Ernie Blaine.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>The Vaughn family requests that, in lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember and honor Ronnie&rsquo;s life do so by supporting a local charitable cause that is near to their heart.</strong></span>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. CLEVELAND- Ross L “Ronnie” Vaughn, III
